The first watch I bought was a Timex Fairfield. White dial with silver case, indices and hands- a simple contemporary design. Sits on a navy blue NATO strap.

- It seems that positive displays are more legible than negative
- positive: dark text on light background (e.g. DW5600BCE-1)
- negative: light text on dark background (e.g. DW5600BB-1)
- positive is the standard type
